Canada post had been fine in the past but it has been going downhill in the last decades and it is getting much worse.
Couple of decades ago I complained about the postman not forwarding my my mail to my new address. The postman retaliated by destroying my mail. I had sent my Engineering certificate to a chiropractor college in Portland. The certificate was including my 5 years engineering details and certified from the Egyptian ministry of foreign affairs and the Canadian embassy in Cairo Egypt which was a lot of work. I didn’t hear from the chiropractic college and when I phoned them they claimed that they mailed my certificate back to me. I waited for it for months and I got nothing in my mail. I knew that the postman must had destroyed my certificate and I complained to the Canada post which didn’t help me at all.
Now with the pandemic things with the Canada post are getting worse. I made an order for medical honey which never arrived. It had a tracking number and when I contacted Canada post they claimed that the postman left it at my front door. He didn’t even knock on the door or buzz me from entrance buzzer. My complaints got nowhere and the Canada post told me that the shipper must file the complaint. I got nowhere with Canada post. I don’t even know if the postman delivered anything. I had to suffer of the Canada post actions. I advise Canada post to let me pick up my parcels from the post office. Couple of weeks ago I got a delivery notice that I have a parcel in the post office. I called the post office but they told me that there was nothing delivered to the post office. I asked them to check my delivery notice number but they said that the delivery notice number means nothing. All my complaints got no where. American postal service is much better than the Canada post and we well abolish Canada post and merge it with USPS (United States postal service) and remove all the borders between America and Canada. That will save Canadian much money and give us a much better service.
