I have been sending money to friends in the Ukraine. I used Bank of Montreal website to send money using western union. I made few transfers but the system kept in rejecting my transfers. I complained to the bank of Montreal ceo but he transferred me to the BMO escalation department which did not help me for long time. After a whole month they told me that I can only make 8 transfers to the Ukraine every month which is bizarre and it took them a whole month to inform me. I complained to western union but they retaliated by blocking all my transfers. I complained but I didn’t get any help and they told me that western union doesn’t have to do transfers for me and they don’t have to do business with me.
I then tried MoneyGram but they gave me a hard time because the robot didn’t accept my identification. I had to go to money gram locations to send money which waisted my time a paid extra for transportation and paid more than double for the transfer fees. After a month my identification was accepted but money gram site rejected 2 different and good debit cards. The first debit card was with the CIBC which I used it everywhere including the money gram agent location. It told me their were address mismatch. I complained and went to the escalation department and they didn’t help at all. I tried to use bank of Montreal debit card but money gram robot said invalid card number. I used this debit card everywhere including the money gram agent location with no problem. I was transferred to the escalation department which waisted more than one hour and got no solution. They told me that I have to
send an email and wait for weeks for their reply.
We must nationalize these two irresponsible companies and offer a decent service. The Canadian government couldn’t help me at all.
As a world government we will hold businesses responsible for their actions and nationalize any irresponsible businesses. Please share your bad experiences with us so we can retaliate against any irresponsible businesses. When I complained to the Canadian government they told me all I can do is to complain to better business bureau which have no power to punish such irresponsible companies.
This is a rotten system and we will get rid of the Canadian government and get united with the American government.
